Eyes and Ears 4
In May 2026 Electrik Toothbrushes have returned to organising and promoting live art and music gigs in Brighton with a new instalment of Eyes and Ears in The Greendoor Store. This time I got to headline alongside BABYTEETH! scary but worth it, BABYTEETH [all caps always] are a fantastic band, with no music currently out online you have to catch them live to see what the hype is about, trust me its worth it. I finished my painting early so I jumped over the brick wall deviding the painting area to everyone else to get some dancing in, I cant help it they are too good. With a lineup of the bands BABYTEETH, Allodynia and Jelly this gig was a raving sucsess, raising £160 for Shelter Charity in the ticket proceeds! We really appreciate everyone who shows up and donates to these gigs, it means the world to us that so many people want to support and engage with the scene alongside help us fundraise for charity.
We got alot of help from bandmembers of Bones ate Arfa and Ragdoll to help this show go perfectly behind the scenes, alongside the photographer AidenJ.productions who origionally only came for Jelly but kindly offered to photograph the whole gig for us! As always big shoutout to my fellow Electrik Toothrbushes Maria Awantura, Ryan Poulter and Joe Zillwood for joining in on the fine art side of the gig! Maria in particular as always deserves the biggest shoutout, as they take the lead in organising these gigs. We all play our part in putting these together, but their efforts cannot go uncredited.
Electrik Toothbrushes are already planning future events, so keep your eyes peeled. Id reccomend you follow our instagram or email us at electriktoothbrushes@gmail.com if you are interested in our work or want to inquire about collaborating (or joining our forces). Keep the alternative music scenes alive! Be weird be punk be lit and love art!
